Take part in the 111th Christmas Bird Count

This winter thousands of bird watchers  and citizen scientists will be braving the cold from December 15, 2010 to January 5, 2011 to take part in the 111th Christmas Bird Count. The Christmas Bird C helps to provides valuable census data to study the health of bird populations. This data is especially vital in guiding conservationist efforts. The CBC is organized by the National Audubon Society and you can check out their site for the specifics on how to take part in the census.
