Total Lunar Eclipse for North America (Dec. 20)

Eclipse Map

On the evening of December 20th, will be a total lunar eclipse.  The next total lunar eclipse to be visible from North America will not occur until April 15, 2014. So unless you are willing to fly to Europe for the next ones, I highly recommend staying up past your bed time to watch it. Unlike the Solar eclipse the lunar eclipse is perfectly safe to watch directly. You can also watch it with the naked eye, though binoculars or a telescope would obviously magnify the experience. The exact times can be found in the graphic below (Caution:They are in Eastern Standard Time)
